They always go together

Not one but TWO lightbulbs blew out when I turned them on this morning.

This is on top of 2 that are out elsewhere in the house.

This afternoon, I have to play God and say "Let There Be Light" a bunch of times as I change bulbs.

Switch to fluorescent if you haven't already. Last much longer than standard (incandescent) bulbs.

Is there too much electricity?

This is an older neighborhood and has notoriously dirty power. All of our electronics are on UPS, but you can't hook the overhead lights into a UPS. I'm not sure that's the culprit, though.

Oooh, get yourself some of the new home flourescents. My electric bill just went down $20 in one month.
