A long ass Lupin the III post

I'm a huge fan of Lupin the Third, (he's in 2 of my icons for cryin out loud) my friends should all know this. Since, oh, 1999 or so? I bought like the entire manga, a bunch of soundtracks, have the entire first tv series, large chunks of the second tv series, and MANY of the theatrical movies/annual tv specials, and its just in general one of my

Castle of Cagliostro is, and always will be, the benchmark, but on some level, Tokyo Crisis might be my favorite, just for the scene where Zenigata, thrown off the Lupin case, (and possibly even the police force entirely) due to pressure from the Giant Evil Corporation whose evil he uncovered while investigating why Lupin was trying to rob them, comes home and discovers that, rather than just toss his apartment to find his casenotes, the Giant Evil Corporation have in fact...

Just to screw with Zenigata.

And, sifting through the rubble of his life, Zenigata finds his jutte, (that sword-breaker thing that you always see him waving around, and is apparently the symbolic weapon of all Japanese policemen) and is like FUCK THIS. I AIN'T HAVIN' THIS.

And then he and Lupin team up to destroy the Giant Evil Corporation. :D

Yeah. That part is great, when Lupin and Zenigata forcibly team up is always awesome. . I should try watching that one again sometime.

And you guys really need to visit, its been like a year and a half, waaaaay the hell too long. I know we all have conflicting work scehdules, but at this point its been ridiculously long. It doesn't even need to be on a weekend, I can make time during the average work week if its planned in advance.

Or at least get on AIM more often. Its still Pet Shinigami, right?
