Milliways OOM: Draco & Miniver in London

Time has moved forward in London between Miniver's last visit to the church and now. Early fall has given way to early winter. A biting wind awaits the three young men as they leave Milliways, feet crunching on the thin layer of snow covering the streets. It was still early; Mass wouldn't begin for a few hours yet. Draco looked around, walking slowly. No wizard robes today, but even some of his usual suits had a classic, almost antiquated look to them. The Wizarding World had always been a bit behind the time of muggle trends. Almost like the years simply moved slower for them, since in some ways it did. So his current outfit didn't look entirely out of place.

"Almost like our areas of London, only... more muggle," he remarked.

Miniver watches Draco watch the world, and smiles. He finds the match irresistably adorable, and only with great force of will does he stop himself from taking Draco's hand.

"No cars or anything, though," Miniver says, walking beside the wizard. "And I bet folks are dressed better. Still! t's nice, this world. It's... nice."

He is himself dressed in one of the suits Robbie had bought him, and a coat provided by Bar. Even so he shivers a bit in the wind.

"I'm biased," Robbie admits. "It's my world, and I'm quite fond of it, even if I would like to see some things changed before I die."

He sandwiches Draco between them as they walk along the streets, making their way to the centre of the city.

Robbie is dressed very formally in a light coloured suit with a dark waistcoat and a hat. His wool coat, which covered his day coat, was the colour of coal. He looked every bit the proper Victorian gentleman heading off to Confession before morning Mass.

"You don't see any cars in Diagon Alley. Only a few wizards bother with them at all. Mostly when children need to be taken somewhere. Otherwise people can just Apparate usually," Draco remarked, and likewise seeming like a proper gentleman. Easy for such appearances when you've been raised from birth to do so.
