a nice easy few days. went to a bootsale again yesterday. me mum had a stall and me and carina helped out selling bits and bobs. we were bloody good. although we didnt know what some of the stuff was! still we made a bit of cash. sold my video of tommy to some woman who knew barry winch who played ickle tommy in the film. i was very impressed

I've been meaning to do/go to a boot sale for ages. Do people haggle lots? Did you start with a high price and then let them haggle it down?

i was a bit crap at the haggling.

example:
some woman: "how much?"
me: "uhh 3 quid"
sw: "would u take 1.50"
me: "nah, 2?"
sw: "go on, 1.50"
me: "i cant....."
sw: looks at me, trying to stare me out
me: "....."
sw: looks angry
me: "uhhh.....1.60?"

she then bought it.
i will learn one day. i'm too innocent or something.
