I spent yesterday at home drinking tea and watching TV because I was as sick as a dog. I'm still sick today, but I'm making an attempt to go into work because I can't really afford to take time off to be sick. I doubt I'll make it since I'm coughing hard enough to not be able to breathe, but at least I got dressed this morning ( Read more... )

I made it till about one o'clock, and then I had to go home and be sick for the rest of the day. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better because I don't have the patience to be sick.

Oh, thank God it's not just me! Although I've softened toward it enough that I can watch it all the way through at least once. I still hate E.T., though! (Again, I am a terrible person.)

It's the crying. She cries through so much of it. I can't take it. By contrast, I love Return to Oz, and that Dorothy is remarkably sanguine about...everything.

I haven't rewatched E.T. since I was a wee thing, but it scared the crap out of me then. I'm not really eager to revisit it.
