I'm Gonna Get Along Somehow.

I was cleaning up the house and indulging my nostalgic streak by watching Heart & Souls. It's the first movie I ever saw RDJ in and I've pretty much been in love with him since. And I know that Tom Sizemore turned out to be an abusive cokehead asshole who needs to fade into the background and never be heard from again, but for a brief moment in my ( Read more... )

Oh, that movie is so wonderful and sweet. It still makes me so happy.

*snug* I'm used to tearing up at Disney movies, but lately it feels like I cry over everything. Ooof!

I loved that movie! Oh, Kyra Sedgwick. I love her. And Alfre Woodard is brilliant. BRILLIANT.

Oh, Alfre! Her Penny is the best movie mom ever and she was just amazing throughout the whole movie. :D

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvey!

The show has totally become about him and Jessica, for me. Not in a romantic fashion, but more just - it's fascinating, their dynamic, their loyalty, and yet it's not exactly friendship. I'm so intrigued. And his FACE. I can't wait for this week's ep!

OH, HARVEY. I am enjoying his slow unfurling of emotion to Mike and the give and take between him and Jessica. The scene where he kept saying, "He's my mentor," in response to Cameron's guilt just broke my heart because we've never seen Harvey without a plan before, and that was Harvey lost and floundering.

I love that Jessica just did her usual brilliant thing and got him out of it and threatened to end Cameron if he messed with Harvey again. I love how protective she is of him, even when he fights her. They have such a great dynamic.

I can't wait for this week's ep either! :D

I can't even talk about Jessica threatening Cameron without . . . . oh yep, there it goes, brain cells burning up in a haze of lust . . . :D

I know! I spent the entire episode doodling 'Jessica Pearson' on my mental Trapper Keeper because unf, she is so gorgeous and tough and smart. *_______*

I actually just watched "Heart & Souls" like two weeks ago, when I was sitting at home and supposed to be working. I'd not seen it in forever, and since we own the DVD and I'd dripped it to an MP4 file on my system, I just queued it up, sat back, and watched... I loved the scene with B. B. King - one of my favorites. That, and for a week solid, I did nothing but hum "Walk Like a Man". :) They cast this pretty well! :)

I love all the scenes in that movie, honestly. And the music! It was clearly made for me. :D
