So a while back, seren_ccd did a meme and got talked into writing a Jennifer Crusie-style Trek Big Bang story set in a small California town where Christine Chapel has a house that's falling apart, an inappropriate thing for the new doctor with a gruff voice and gentle hands, and has to deal with all sorts of shenanigans from a cat-burglaring best friend

I fully approve of this concept. I also love the trios of pictures you chose for the castings. Gives a good sense of what the characters are going to be like even before I read the darn thing (WHICH I WILL BE OH YES INDEED) - at least the OC's, since I'm assuming the au versions of Trek chars will be approximately on target :P

It's amazing and hilarious how actors sometimes look related, even when they're not. Now I want Jewel and Rosamund to play sisters in some wacky romantic comedy. :D
