Wait, I Have A Better Idea!

So I am a huge fan of A Softer World, by Emily Horne and Joey Comeau, but as I was reading through the older posts, like you do sometimes when you're obsessive bored, I started noticing that some of the strips really work for many of my fandoms.

Here are the ones that speak to my soul:

I just saw the last one ("Ah, love at first sight") on Tumblr redone for Tron/Yori/Kevin from TRON.

If I had to choose best fit, I'd say Chin, Kono, Steve, or Marcus (I've never watched Leverage enough to get into it - it never caught). But they are all awesome.

God, the Steve one is how this whole thing started. I saw it and went, 'That is the most perfectly Steve comic strip I have ever read.' And then bam! an hour later, this nonsense exists.

Are you saying Steve caused trouble, making you waste your time digging through archived images, trying to make it all make sense?

Danny, I did not know you were on LJ...

If only you could see my frantic hand gestures! You'd know my feelings on Steve's trouble-causing ways.

The H50 ones are great. But the Chin one? Needs to be canon now :D

Right?! I am convinced that this is Chin's secret philosophy of life, which is the whole reason he's so Zen about most of the bullshit he's had to go through.

Steve, Eliot, and Parker are AMAZING.

... And now I'm trying to think of screencaps that would fit.

Oh, God, show screencaps for this would be so fabulous!

...What does it say about me that I've seen most of these before, and I had the exact same though process as you for nearly all of them?

(Also, not gonna lie. That Danny one? You KNOW that when he was younger he gained a reputation in his neighbourhood for being a brawler. Always with a good reason, of course, but still.)

Danny was totally the neighborhood tough, all gangly limbs and short legs and a swagger that would put a full-grown boxer to shame.

I would give all the money* in my pockets for fic where Danny spent the majority of his afterschool days down at the local boxing club, working a speed bag, sparring with guys twice his size, and then going for burgers with the guys. UNF forever, etc.

*Confession: I've only got $1.53 right now. I spent the rest on really good tea.
