And then I read this comment, kicked myself hard for not even thinking about casting people of color for all of the Dresden Files, and spent the next two weeks feverishly picking and choosing which actor would work for which

even if you hadn't already won me for including so damn many terrific people (Grace Park, DDK, Jon Huertas, Lennie James, John Cho, Jason Mamoa) in this project, your casting of Gina Torres as The Leanansidhe would have sealed the deal.

Oh, Gina Torres. Just imagining her being terrifyingly beautiful and seductive around Harry is enough to make me sigh happily.

I'm really glad to have done this, even though I keep second-guessing myself for all the actors I didn't include. It was so worth it.

Takeshi Kaneshiro is the one you told me speaks a bunch of languages, right? My brain is full of holes. Anyway, that first picture of him does things to my ovaries. :x

LOVE THIS!! (and I loved your other castings too) but this rocks my world because ::cough:: Gina Torres is so freaking awesome! \o/

(also, because I don't watch much tv/movies/vids, I really miss out on lots of actors of all colors so I love your casting posts!)

I loved doing this casting. It makes me sad that it's not really going to be a series of movies because, dude, Gina Torres! And Idris Elba! Sigh.

Oh, I neglected to mention Idris Elba! 1st saw him years ago in a BBC production Ultraviolet... also with Jack Davenport and Stephen Moyer. Great stuff!!

Ahahaha! I have that on DVD, but totally forgot Idris was in that. I need to watch that show again.
