Now. On Ten. I agree with you entirely and thoroughly. I think I like him as much as I do because a)David Tennant, b)Martha Jones and c)Donna Noble. So, I guess I'll wait until you've met them and then see what you think of him/them/it all. And about Rose, yeah, at best I'm ambivalent about her... At best.

I will reserve judgment on Ten until I have seen the entire series! Like I said, I adore Tennant, but so far, Ten isn't impressing me with all the judgment he's thrown around in the first two episodes. Keep in mind that I am the same person who has never forgiven Joss Whedon for killing of Joyce Summers, and I really liked Harriet Jones. :|

OH, ELEVEN. Every time I hear the music for Eleven's regeneration, it makes me so happy. And Amy and Rory and oh! :D

Right? Ten came on hard on the self-righteousness and ugh. DNW. But he then exhibits some endearing treats and kind of gets to you. At some point.

ELEVEN IS MADE OF SO MANY KINDS OF AWESOME. And so is Amy and Rory and River Fucking Song (that is her full name). I love how they are all so caring for each other and everyone gets to be an awesome BAMF on their own special ways and THEY ALL WIN. Besides, you usually want to hug Eleven. And maybe tousle his hair a bit. And snap his suspenders if you're feeling naughty. Which are all a lot of short sentences, yes, but more importantly, they're all good things.

I am fully expecting him to win me over with the Queen Victoria episode. But he is still on notice at this point!

RIVER FUCKING SONG OH MY GOD. I would love to write odes to how amazing and badass she is, and how much I love Alex Kingston and want to marry her. Her and Eleven together are just lovely and perfect and made me so happy. Also, I want to shoot Eleven's fez, but in a really nice way. :D

I vaguely remember, and I remember that it made me mad again, but now I forget what it actually was.

I am very ambivalent about Rose. I like her sometimes because she's very passionate and open and brave, but every time she and Mickey meet up, I have to grit my teeth because I hate how she treats him like a non-entity. I almost wish Mickey wasn't around because he gets treated so shabbily by her and the Doctors, and after seeing how Rory was accepted and loved by Amy and Eleven, I am spoiled.

But OMG MARTH AND DONNA AND JACK, I LOVE THEM. Martha and Donna are BAMFs, I remember that, and Jack. well, he's Jack. :D

I saw that trailer! And then I saw it on a fifty-foot screen and fffffffffff, I need to watch that already. COME ON, 2011, GET HERE FASTER.

INDY AND BOND ON A FIFTY FOOT SCREEN. *flails*

Yeah, I didn't get the Mickey thing. I mean, I do sort of. She's young and foolish in a lot of ways, and he bears the brunt of that. But it was so damaging to her character, when the rest of her presentation is open and brave and full of heart. It was such a contrast, it was hard to parse.

The embracing of Rory was SO unexpected for me! I was like...but..but..OH. OH. OMG AMY'S HAREM OMG I LOVE THIS YAY.

During the first ten seconds of the trailer, I actually thought it was the next Bond movie, and then I saw the wrist cuff and went, "AHHHHHHHHHHH, BOND AND INDY ARE SPACE COWBOYS." *hands*

I just. I loved Rose so much in "Dalek" where she cried and witnessed the death of the last Dalek, but I had to work so hard at liking her after the first episode where she didn't even notice that her boyfriend had turned into a plastic creature. Like, how the fuck do you not notice that the guy you're dating looks like a mannequin?! I think my problem with her so far is that she grows so much as a person around Nine, but she regresses into a spoiled, whiny child when she's with Mickey, and it really makes me resent him for letting himself get treated like a doormat and her for treating him like that. Sigh
