It's such a terrible movie, but it's beautifully filmed and everyone is ridiculously gorgeous in it and Bryce and Jared are so totally boyfriends that it's not even funny.

Vin and Paul sizzle with new love, Paul and Scott sizzle with old-married couple love. Either way, we win! :D

The director even talked about their love for each other and their "interesting" bond! And then Paul talked about how much he loved Scott and Scott sat close enough to Paul to kiss him and I am amazed at how in love they are with each other. :D

Honestly, it's a terrible movie. I watch it on mute because most of the dialogue makes me want to hit myself with sticks. But it's so pretty and epically slashy and Scott in shorts and nothing else is always worthwhile. :D

Terrible yet hot movie where Paul, Jessica Alba, Scott, and Ashley Holt find a sunken treasure and drug dealers. But you're really watching it for the hot people in tight clothing, artistic swimming shots, and Paul and Scott's epic bromance that is pretty much a romance by the end of the movie.

...and the Bahamas, don't forget the Bahamas! :-D (Complete with James Bondian underwater photography, sunken planes, sunken treasure, unscrupulous competitors, etc., etc.)

We (us Bahamian folks, my siblings specifically) were rather pleased that by and large, they found Bahamians to play "local" characters, so people spoke with appropriate accents rather than the abysmal "We're all from Jamaica, Mon. Irie, irie..." you so often get. (Seems peeps in Hollywood believe everyone in the West Indies speaks with a Jamaican accent. Not surprising, I guess -- Big Business assumes everyone in the West Indies speaks Spanish).

Anyway! It was a lot of fun, recognizing filming locations and occasional extras. Scott's character has some less than stellar moments, and there were times I didn't know who I wanted to slap harder, Bryce or Herself the girlfriend, for... eh... unsound decision-making, but all in all, not a bad bromance. :-D
