Can anyone help? What does this mean?

"The 35-storey tower and a smaller 7-storey block has been christened
‘Gravity’ to reflect the development of the area as a desirable residential
zone."

Now, I know I was educated under the old system whereby facts had relevance, rather than how they made us feel. But I always thought that gravity had something ( Read more... )

I wonder if they meant "gravitas"?

Or perhaps it's just that the area will irresistibly pull you down... ?

I must admit I thought of gravitas too.. a massive outfall from something's bottom that means doesn't it?..

You obviously haven't seen the recent debates on the so-called "science" exams where, apparently, knowing facts and figures is less important than being able to debate how you feel on a subject (and being able to spout the current political view on a subject area) :-(

Watch what happens to the colour of the litmus solution as you add NaOH to the HCl solution. Write a poem about how the colours make you feel.
