I know this is going to probably get out of hand but I must inject some facts into this rant.

#1 - Mission Accomplished was for Iraq, not Afghanistan.
#2 - The majority of the fighting done in 2001 was not by Coalition forces, but by the Northern Alliance, the majority of the US involvement was with CIA/SF ODA teams who provided intel, money and air-strike capabilities to the indigenous forces trying to take out the Taliban.. You know the ones who gave sanctuary to the terrorists who have attacked us on multiple occasions here and around the world. I can provide you with the books written by the CIA operatives in Afghanistan if you doubt my claims. :)

So it is logical to think now that we have more actual troops in the area that they would have a higher chance of dieing than they would in 2001.

Ironically it was just as true for THAT war to! ;)
