i had rhinoplasty/septoplasty. i was out of anesthesia within an hour (gogo dank!) and woke up to ask the nurse if i had surgery or not. then i felt my nose and said, "oh... can i have some water?". then i fell back asleep. anesthesia is a bitch, and i've never had it done until that day ( Read more... )

i hope you feel better, i didnt realise you have to wait a whole year see the final result, im sure you will be happy and it'll be worth it.

its a burden, but i'm already seeing changes now since the swelling is gradually decreasing

Haha, I'm the exact opposite of you, I thought anesthesia was great! I was worried when I woke up though, because I heard the doctors talking about how I was having an allergic reaction to the drugs, and I thought a) Gee, I hope I don't die from this.... and b) I hope they didn't have to stop the surgery because of the reaction. I was all about the anesthesia, though, I was just like "woo yeah, I'm on drugs and I'm having fun!" The only thing that sucked about recovering from it was that is made my whole body hurt. I had CRAZY black eyes, too. At least the worst is over for both of us. Now we just have to wait a year to see the final product!

it was mostly for correcting my breathing, but i admit that i wanted the cosmetic part of it too.
