Summary/Notes: Amelia and her students listening to three coordinators and their experiences in the stage.

Jasmine watched the kids, almost as surprised as they were. There were so many. And so attendant. It almost made her nervous; but they were children, so she retained her composure.

"Ah, hello!" she began first. "I'm Jasmine, the O-Olivine City gym leader and a Coordinator in Sinnoh.

"In both battles and Contests, I use my S-Steelix, Rusty," -here she released her Pokemon, the steel snake looming up behind her and creating an intimidating image- "so you can see that Contests don't require a Pokemon you would inherently consider "cute" or "beautiful"... a-and I've one quite a f-few of those contests before."

She paused, waiting to gauge their reaction.

When the Steelix came out of its Pokéball, the kids directed their stares at the snake. And they looked at it as if their lives depended on such an action. For a second. For two. For ten.

The silence was so thick that Amelia started to worry-

"It's so cool!"

"S-so big... and shiny..."

Well, her worries were apparently in vain.

"Um, Miss Jasmine, I have a question." A girl raised her hand. "I've heard that contests in Sinnoh have a dress-up part... h-how do you work with a Pokémon that is so big?" she finished, a bit embarrased.

[OOC: I've authorised by the all mighty mods to work with both Amelia and the kids, btw, so don't worry!]

Jasmine smiled warmly at the inquisitive girl, reassuring her that her question was perfectly fine. "There is a d-dress up part! And you're right; it is difficult to work with Pokemon of S-Steelix's size; however, it's also got advantages, be-because you can do things like this!"

At a motion from her trainer, Rusty snaked its tail up to Jasmine to allow her to hop on, then lifted her up to her face, so that Jasmine could place a ribbon on top of her head. The Olivine gym leader giggled a little as she was let back down.

"You see?" she asked.

"Wow." The girl was speechless - it seemed obvious that she wasn't expecting that, so she kept looking at the ribbon.

Another kid -this time, a boy- raised a hand.

"Miss Jasmine, how do you get started as a coordinator? You just go register somewhere? Or have to know a contest..cont.. I mean, contestant, yes! Or you just go all gatecrashing in one of them?"

Amelia sighed, feeling so tempted to "do a facepalm" (as her students would call it). That was not a proper question.
