I think I would be OK with the stubble if it didn't come hand in hand with the gratuitous character rape. :p
The DVDs brought me to that conclusion, too. No help on this side! :)
On the evil side of things - in this ep, BW just can't keep his hands off of IH. It's like it's the "This is the last time we'll work together..." You know, SMACish.

You never did? The way they're rubbing shoulders and arms, gazing soulfully at each other on the gantry and in the (ahem) cockpit?
This last BW/IH ep was so straight in just that way. So much gratuitous touching.
