The Master had completed repairs on his ship fairly quickly, once given the right materials. He had been exacting in his requests from Dr. Faraday, and the man did not disappoint - even down to several dozen smoke detectors, the shattered cases of which the Master unceremoniously dumped in one of the bar's garbage cans. Dan still isn't certain what to expect, but he's there, again, just like he said he would be.

He didn't know whether or not to pack a bag of any kind, so he didn't. He does have a coat with him, though, in case space is cold...

Before knocking on the door to the Master's "room," he snorts. This is ridiculous. So ridiculous, so completely unexpected. He's about to go for a ride in a time machine in an multidimensional bar.

It's still totally unbelievable. He's still thinking that he might have a brain tumor he doesn't know about.

Brain tumor or no brain tumor, he knocks.

He had been expecting Dan, of course. He opened the door and smiled graciously.

"Daniel! Haven't lost your nerve, I see. Good man."

He beckons him inside and speeds to the controls.

"Have you thought about our destination?"

"Honestly, no. I'll leave it up to you. Surprise me."

His smile is a little nervous and unsure, but that's mostly excited energy. This is really going to happen, isn't it?

He turned and regarded Daniel thoughtfully. "Is that right," he murmured.

"Awfully surprising," the Master remarked over his shoulder as he set coordinates. "Nearly everyone's got a favorite time, or a place they've always wanted to go. I could take you a hundred years from now, to a human colony beyond your solar system. Or I could take you to meet your namesake. Then again, perhaps I'll just take you home with me..."
