Ha! I never really meant to leave LJ. I just got really lax about posting, and then got in the cycle of putting off posting until I did 'proper write-ups' of x big life event, which never happened, and just further perpetuated the not-posting.
So, I figure, may as well just try to start without placing those restrictions/expectations on each post and see how it goes.
But as far as social media... FB is limited, Twitter more so, and while Tumblr's better for blogging, I hate that it's hard to have a conversation there.
When I think about what I'd like my internet connection experience to be like, it's pretty much LJ. But LJ back when my entire flist posted all the time! Be the change you want to see, etc, etc.
