Interesting! I'm sure you haven't shown all your cards, but at the moment, if you don't read the story intro, it seems like six Death Eaters have come out in the middle of the night for a duel with Hermione.

Having read the intro, I'm guessing Lestrange will be dueling someone else? Whoever wins "gets" Hermione?

Gosh, it is SO interesting to read your thoughts on what may or may not be happening next. Your guess is close, but not quite right.

You are right in that I haven't shown all of my cards yet. I'm drawing from two different sources of inspiration, and the second one is definitely going to start showing as the fic progresses.

Oh, this is very interesting! I can't wait to see where this is going because six against one for a duel seems extreme. Plus, Nott mentioned Lestrange picking Hermione. Is some sort of bet going on?

Soon I'll be done with the second chapter, so hopefully that'll be up soon, and then I'll get started writing the third.
