St. Mungos was a nightmare. Or maybe this whole situation felt like a nightmare so it was a matter of transference. It didn't really matter. Bill felt helpless, which frustrated him, which made him angry, and there wasn't a bloody thing he could do about anything. He closed his eyes and kept seeing George staring at nothing. Kept seeing Fred lying on the ground so still it couldn't be believed.

They'd already lost Fred. They couldn't fucking lose George, too.

He growled under his breath as he went back to pacing. They wouldn't let him go with George. Wouldn't tell him anything. Wouldn't do a fucking thing except make him wait. He hadn't contacted the family yet. Not until he had answers and knew what was happening. Greystone might be able to give George something to make it better, after all ( ... )
