Adrian was sitting at his desk when he heard an owl tapping at the window. It was one of the owls from the warehouse, and he wondered what sort of note his elves would have sent along on a Saturday evening. He pulled the note off and cast a drying charm on the dripping owl. It squawked indigently and headed for the perch by the fire.

His eyes widened as he read Zacharias' note. Something must have happened at the tailor's shop to cause him to be in the market for a new job. He grabbed a quill and some parchment.

Zacharias-

I admit I was slightly surprised to hear from you so quickly. Let me look over my books tomorrow and come up with a mutually advantageous plan. Present yourself at my warehouses at 9 on Monday morning, where we can speak face to face.
