Anthony was happy to see the owl from Terry. He'd been a bit disappointed when he'd not heard from him yesterday. But as he read the letter, his face fell. Not this conversation again.

He took out a quill and tapped it against his chin while considering how to word his response.

Thanks for the book. I haven't read this one and am looking forward to sitting down with it now that I am no longer saddled with the burdens of adolescence. (You're right, too posh.)

I'll extend the dinner invitation to you that I've extended to everyone else, though at this point I don't know if we'll all be speaking by the time Sunday comes around. Dinner on Sunday, though. What do you say?

Have you tried talking to Michael?

Sunday dinner sounds great. I'd like to assume we'll all be speaking by then, but that might be too great an assumption.

I've not tried talking with Michael yet. He mostly glares at me or ignores me when I'm around, which makes conversation difficult. But I'll try harder.
