It had been a busy dinner service. One of the busier Saturdays they'd had, which was both good and bad. Wayne didn't mind the hard work, but it did mean that there was barely time to even breathe. Thankfully, the worst of it was done, so it was just random orders now until he left for the night.

He looked up when Shelby asked about classes. "Yeah, actually, was thinking of maybe trying to schedule one next Sunday. Just need to get some kind of sign written up and all. Think I might do a class on pizza, cause it's pretty easy and can give a lot of choices for toppings and all," he said. "Either next Sunday or the one after, once I actually make myself post notices. Am utter bollocks at that, have to admit."

She waved her wand and sent the dry glasses to the cabinet where they lined up, waiting for drink orders. "Pizza? That seems like a fairly easy dish." She kept her voice light. "Um, if you like I can help with the signs. Got the time, right now." She shrugged, then moved to take the tray from Emma, who'd just entered, of mostly empty plates needing washed up.

"The curry's been pretty popular." She was pants at small talk, but she knew it was a skill to cultivate. " So, for the class. What kinds of pizza would you be teaching about?" She really hadn't a clue about the stuff, except that her mother sniffed, and called a mugglelovers food. So, she'd never had it. Never been curious or tempted, tl now.

"Yeah, it's easy, especially if you buy pre-made crust and sauce. Doesn't cost a lot, and you can play with it," he said. He looked at her and grinned. "Sure, if you want. I'm always planning to make the bloody signs then I get busy and remember when I don't have time to do it then get busy and, yeah. Bit of a cycle, that."

He nodded. "Yeah, it has been. Will need to try a couple of new soups soon, though, cause we'll be heading into autumn soon. Won't want anything chilled when the seasons change. Wonder if there's anything like a warm pumpkin soup." He considered it and decided to find out cause using veg in season was great.

"Oh, I dunno. Probably different kinds. I like showing things that people can learn a basic method and then change it up every time. Is teaching them one thing, but they're able to use it for a variety of dinners. With pizza, it's even better because you can put hundreds of different toppings on and try it out." He grinned. "You planning on signing up then?"

She nodded, thought she didn't really know what he meant. Was it some sort of sauce-covered bread? That didn't sound very appetizing, but maybe there was a trick to it ( ... )
