Ginny wandered into Belladonna at 6:45 p.m. There wasn't a lot to be done. Angelina had obviously shown up early and had already set up a few small tables covered with sweets, and she'd even tied balloons around the tables and a few chairs. Ginny waved to the bartender as she walked through the club and found Angelina.
"Wow," Ginny said, "this looks great. You didn't have to set it up without me. I was coming to help."
Angelina turned and smiled. "I didn't have anything else to do," she said. "The birthday girl shouldn't have to set up for her own party. Besides, I just appreciate you using our business."
Ginny touched Angelina's arm. "Your sweets are amazing." That's when Ginny noticed the cake. It was shaped like a Gryffindor lion, and she gasped. "You didn't have to make a cake!" She hurried over to it and shook her head.
Angelina shrugged. "You needed a cake."
Ginny gave her a quick hug and thanked her. The guests should be arriving soon, so she dragged Angelina over to the bar to order them a couple of drinks. Her birthday had already had a good start. Ginny was looking forward to spending time with her friends and enjoying an evening with them.
