I can remember when I was quite young that my mother always used to host garden parties in the month of August, as was proper for a lady of her esteem. It has been far too long since I have seen any of you for any length of time and I figured that August means time for a Garden Party.
If you are not otherwise engaged, your presence would be welcomed this Saturday, August 10, 1999 in the gardens behind Vinewood Terrace at 1:00 in the afternoon. Refreshments will be provided, though if you would like to bring dessert, I'm sure that we would all appreciate additional contributions.
