It was a great day to kick around a football. Wayne had resisted the urge to do nothing but play on his day off. However, after he'd visited the family for breakfast, run some errands, cleaned the flat, and even worked on a sketch for a new bookcase he planned to build for himself, he was tired of acting like a responsible adult. While he was an adult now, and responsible might sort of fit sometimes, it didn't mean that he wanted to waste his only day off doing actual productive shite.

He needed to stop ending up at the 3B on Thursdays, so he'd enjoy both his technical days off, but he liked to go in on Thursdays to check the supplies and make lists of what to order without having to worry about cooking and cleaning. It was nice finding a job that he loved, especially when he'd planned to try to intern at Olympus and never expected his future might involve a kitchen. Course, there were a lot of things that he hadn't really ever expected, which is probably why he didn't bother trying to plan that much.

After he decided that he needed a break, he grabbed his football and headed downstairs. It was warm today, which was good. He liked summer and sunshine. Course, it also meant that he'd work up a sweat in no time, so he dropped the ball on the ground and pulled his t-shirt over his head. Was quiet out today, not much activity in the neighborhood. People were probably eating lunch or being productive. He shrugged and started to kick the ball, careful to stay away from the front area of building so he didn't block the door.
