Greg hadn't really spent any time around Ginny Weasley before. Kind of strange, really, considering she was Luna's best friend, but with them both being at school he supposed it wasn't too surprising. But now that they were home, he was looking forward to getting to know Luna's friends better -- if only to prove to himself that there wasn't anything to be nervous about. Because there wasn't.

He'd asked Luna what he should bring, if anything, and she'd told him he could get the drinks. Drinks he could handle, and he carried them with him through the floo into Luna's house. She was in the kitchen, drinking some water, and he felt his heart jump a bit to look at her. Glancing around, he saw no sign of Ginny yet. "Hey Luna," he said, holding the drinks up when he got her attention. "'m just going to put these on the table for now."

When he'd set them down, he moved over to her. She didn't look like her hands were full at the moment, so he took the opportunity to kiss her hello. "Is it just us for now?"

Luna heard the floo and took another sip of water, trying not to feel too impatient for Greg. It hadn't been that long since they'd last seen each other. Still, she couldn't help from smiling widely when he arrived with the drinks, announcing that he was going to put them down.

He approached her and kissed her, and Luna sighed into it, taking his hands. When he released her, she covered up another sigh by shimmying a little to the music with a grin. "It's just us. How are you? How was work?" she kissed his cheek again.

It would be interesting, spending time with the two of them at once. She had very different relationships with both of them- understandably so- so it would be fun trying to reconcile them.

"Good," he admitted when she said it was only them for now. "Haven't seen you in a while, feels like." He watched her do her little shimmy thing, and then had to take her by the waist and kiss her again. "I should probably let you try and get stuff done, or something."

He ducked his head and released her again, reluctantly. "Work was fine. Spent today in the office, with paperwork things." He wrinkled his nose a bit, but smiled. "You need any help?"

Luna grinned into his kiss this time, nodding when he pulled away. "Probably. It's almost done, though," she said. "What drinks did you bring?"

"Well, it sounds relaxing, at least?" she asked, because she wasn't quite sure. Perhaps paperwork got frustrating. "Hmm," she turned back to the stove and motioned to the pan. "You can stir the veg while I check on the fish. It's all about to come together."

Ginny Apparated to just outside of Luna's front door. She felt slightly nervous and felt silly for it. She had no reason to be nervous, seeing as how she knew who Greg was, but Luna was important to her, and if Luna was serious about Greg, then Ginny wanted him to like her, too.

She knocked on the door and looked down at the tin of biscuits she had made especially for this dinner. She hoped Greg liked biscuits.

Luna finished putting the food on the table and had asked Greg to fetch a serving spoon for the vegetables while she set up the places. She was just wondering if Greg would be able to find the serving spoons- she wasn't even sure where they were at the moment- when she heard a light knock at the door. "She's here," she sang out and skipped over to the door.

Opening it, Luna smiled widely- she'd missed Ginny. She gave her a big hug, mindful of the tin she held, and led her inside. "Hello Ginny! How are you? These smell good," she greeted her.

Luna greeted Ginny with a hug and she laughed. "Hey Luna. I missed you. Wow, it smells good in here," she said as she followed Luna into the house. Ginny held out the tin to Luna.

"I wasn't sure if Greg liked biscuits, but I made two different kinds." She smiled. "But if he doesn't, I know you and I will eat them."

Greg was still stirring the veg when Luna came back into the kitchen with Ginny. He felt a prickle of nerves that he was sure were ridiculous, and he lifted a hand in greeting. "Hey," he said as Ginny walked in, holding out a tin of biscuits.

"'s okay," he told her, "I really like biscuits. I eat a lot of things." He cleared his throat.

Ginny tried not to smirk. She realised she might be unsuccessful trying; thinking of the Bat
Bogey hex she cast on Draco still made her want to laugh. "Yeah, something like that," she said in response to her hexing abilities.

Ginny cut a piece of fish and forked it into her mouth. "Mmmm, this is good, Luna," she said and smiled at her friend.

She swallowed before answering, "Well, I haven't done a whole lot other than settling back into the Burrow and working with George. He and I went to dinner after work one day, and I met Oliver Wood in town, and he and I grabbed a quick bite to eat and talked Quidditch." She shrugged. "Suppose that's about it. What about you two?"
