"I know there must be places like that for rent, but I'm not sure where you'd find out about them, to be honest. Perhaps we should ask Madam Rosmerta? Or maybe we could ask at the market. I'm willing to bet they know all kinds of things there," she suggested.

"Besides, I know you wanted something a little more... homey, but the flats aren't too expensive and they're quite comfortable. Would you like to see mine? You haven't seen it yet, have you?"

"Good ideas. I'm not in a hurry. I have some idea of the prices and what's out there now. I really didn't think I'd settle on something today," he said.

"Not too expensive is good," he nodded. He had some money stashed away from selling his game idea but not a lot else. Reed had other ideas but he set those aside to revise for NEWTs. "Not yet, we sort of ran out of time last Hogsmeade weekend. Sure, I'd love to see it, Mandy. Do you like it better than having housemates?"

"Alright, then... let's go back to my place and I'll make us some tea. We can look along the way," she suggested, taking his hand and squeezing it. "Have you thought about getting a house with some friends? I liked living with other people, but I've very social. I like living alone, too, but it's different. No one to fight with, but no one except myself to blame if the house isn't clean. They both have their merits. I mean, living alone is easier in that you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, but you also have to do all the shopping and the cleaning and the cooking on your own."
