Kevin walked out of the house he shared with his flatmates and walked towards High street with his hands in his pockets. He hadn't completely forgotten about the anniversary, but he had tried not to let it affect his work until a coworker mentioned it. Quite tactless of course to ask a 19 year old if he really was at Hogwarts when it was taken and if he had participated. Or maybe Kevin thought it was tactless only because he was involved.
Either way in her letter, Cho sounded like she might actually need company. So he had offered, still leaving her the choice to not see him.
He entered Honeyduke's and scanned the room, going straight for the chocolate. He grabbed an assortment of a few products, as well as a few flavors of Sugarquills and other sweets he thought she might enjoy as well as himself.
He made his way back to Vinewood after he paid and showed up at Cho's place, knocking gently.
