Date: April 7, 1999 Characters: Percy Weasley, Hestia Jones Location: Her flat, London Status: Private Summary: Percy helps Hestia celebrate Easter after work. Completion: Incomplete
Hestia was tired from dealing with children with rabbit ears or who couldn't stop clucking like chickens. She apparated home and wanted to curl up with a book and some chocolate. Maybe have a lovely bath.
She stepped into her apartment and shrieked. There was someone on the couch. As her eyes adjusted to the light she realized who it was. "Percy! Merlin's pants, you scared me. What are you doing here?"
Percy started when Hestia appeared, shrieking. He almost dropped the book he'd been holding- it had started to get tedious, waiting, so he picked up one of Hestia's novels. It turned out to be quite interesting- not the kind of thing he'd want to see his mother or sister reading.
He set the novel down gently before standing. "I'm sorry I startled you. I brought you dinner," he said simply. He'd tease her about the book later.
Hestia stared at him for a moment before smiling at him. "Oh, Percy, that's fantastic. You're the best bloke in the world." She walked over and kissed him soundly before remembering she wasn't supposed to do that.
Percy beamed at her praise, his breath catching as she walked towards him with intent. He was rewarded with a kiss, and it was nice. He automatically wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back, sighing when she pulled away.
"Please don't apologize," he winced too, because his girlfriend shouldn't have to apologize for kissing him. "It's not so much that I don't think we should even kiss- it's just that it so easily leads to so much more," he said, and frowned a little, not wanting to continue talking about it, because his resolve was weak as it was.
"Are you hungry? I can get a plate served up for you while you get comfortable," he said. Maybe he'd give her a foot rub, too. Was that too played out? He imagined her feet were tired.
