"We can rub it with lemon and a little rosemary. It's good like that. And you are not an idiot. We'll just have to roam the aisles and see what else appeals to us since someone forgot our carefully prepared list," Neville gave a long suffering sigh, or at least he tried to. He ended up chuckling. "It was probably my fault, pulling you onto my lap to write it all out like that."

"Oi! They have cocoa. You don't have any cocoa in your cupboard yet. We need this. A man cannot live by chicken alone you know," he put the tin in the buggy.

"Okay, that works." She sighed. "Probably. It's easier to blame you, anyway. Being at fault is bad for my image, you know."

She grinned as he tossed cocoa in the cart. "Planning to hang around a lot then, Mr. Longbottom?" she teased, raising an eyebrow. She didn't have any complaints, but either he'd be embarrassed (which was cute) or he'd get all growly (which was less cute but equally as intriguing).

"Can't muck about with your image, can we?" Neville chuckled. "Next thing you know, people will start accusing you of consorting with Gryffindors, then word on the street will be that you're working for a living and cooking without benefit of house elf. Tsk, tsk. Hogsmeade with be rife with rumors."

Neville cocked his head to the side and scratched his chin, pretending to think it over. "Maybe. If you play your cards right," he teased. "You'll need to have some of these chips too. Do you have flour and sugar to make biscuits? Flour is good for pizza dough too and yeast, we need that." He started moving things to the cart. Shopping was a good idea.

"No. It's important to uphold."

She dropped her jaw and put her hands on her hips. "Might as well just move in!" she said in mock anger.

"So how was your week, anyway? Did The Master get under your skin? I could always hex him. Or drone on about superficial things. That might scare him off."

"Sure, if you'd like. We'll be working on the place outside of town on Sunday morning after I get back from seeing my folks. I usually fly there, but you've seen it a couple of times if you want to Apparate. Maybe you'll take pity on me and bring a picnic lunch," he batted his eyelashes, or at least he tried to, he didn't think it worked very well. He probably looked like an arse.

"You're making quite free with my lap, Miss Parkinson," Neville teased.

"I could probably do that."

She smiled and lifted her head up. "Is that supposed to deter me?" She leaned down and kissed him, happy to finally have the opportunity. Dinner would be ready soon, but for now, a little kissing wouldn't hurt anyone.

"No," Neville told her honestly as he kissed her back. He trailed his hand down her neck and palmed her breast lightly before sliding it down to her waist to snuggle her closer. It was a bold move for him since he'd avoided touching her there before.

Pansy froze when she felt his hand on her breast. It wasn't unwelcome, nor was it a totally foreign thing to her, but was a surprise.

It was over before it began, though, and Pansy wondered if Neville even meant to do it. Pulling back a little, she looked at him and waited to see if he'd say anything.
