Greg thought that ice cream was as good a way to celebrate a new job as any, especially as he hadn't had it in quite a while. He'd walked to the Spotted Cow only a few minutes after receiving his letter from the Ministry, the one that had informing him that he was due to report at the Ministry on Monday morning at eight-thirty for his first day of work. After such a long wait -- or, at least, what had felt like such a long wait -- he'd not been sure their answer would be yes, so now, he was pretty relieved to say the least.
And hungry.
He could have ice cream before a meal on a day like this, he thought as he went into the dairy for the first time since it had opened and made his way to the display of flavors. He sort of liked peach, so maybe that'd be a good choice. He'd get it in a cone. And maybe afterward, he'd owl Luna with the good news.
