The week was finally over, and Parvati decided she needed to celebrate. She wasn't sure what she was celebrating yet, other than making it out of several days of interviews and exams, but she knew she needed both something sweet and a drink. She figured Padma would be around, so she didn't have to drink alone, not that she really minded today.
Her basket stocked with ingredients for a chocolate mouse, and a bottle of wine, she headed towards the cashier, spotting Seamus on her way there.
"Mr. Finnigan," she smiled, nodding to him formally. "Do you feel officially violated after the interviews? Or is it just me."
Seamus snickered at the formal greeting as he dropped another jar of dip into his basket. "Miss Patil."
"Not just you," he said, shuddering. "Just got back from my second one. I want to know just what all the bleedin' questions were about. Lost track o' how many there were."
"I know. You'd think they would have a pretty good idea what we'd be like as employees after one round, but then again, what do I know." Parvati felt like she'd done her best in the interview with the Communications department, but she had no idea how they'd seen it.
"At least it's over for now. It was a bloody long week, though."
"Eh, I reckon they couldn't give us any special consideration," he reasoned. "Still, bit of a pain. After two interviews, though, hopefully, my chances would be better. It's the same department I was just interning in."
"Thank god for the weekend," he said. "So what're you up to? Done shopping?"
