Hercules was still in Belgium awaiting a reply from Dougal, so Cormac walked down to the Owlery. In his hands were several bulging envelopes addressed to the Ministry of Magic. He'd decided to apply to several positions in several departments, just in case he wasn't able to get his first choice. His strong NEWT scores would make it easier for him to get the job he wanted, but nothing was ever guaranteed.
After he'd paid for owl and watched it fly off toward London, he returned to High Street with a contented smile on his face. He looked around, wondering if he should go shopping or get something nice to eat to celebrate his impending Ministry career.
