Angelina hurried out of the flat above the Pink Umbrella and bustled down the stairs. It was a minute after noon, and she hoped that Hermione hadn't been waiting long. She pushed open the door and saw her waiting near the front.
"Hermione," she said with a winded smile. "Sorry, I'm late. Was just upstairs taking a look at the flat. How are you?" she asked.
"I'm going great, thanks. And congratulations again on the new job. I can't wait to hear about it," she said as they walked to the table.
"I have been looking at flats, and I suppose it's safe to say I've given some serious thought to moving out. I don't know about how soon, but," she shrugged, "sometimes, it just feels like it's time."
They sat down and took the offered menus. "Oh, no problem. I've been meaning to take the time off long enough to have a decent lunch, and I know we've been talking about it for weeks, so I thought I'd give it a shot and see if you were free."
Angelina glanced at the menu. "Can I get us a celebratory appetizer?"
As Angelina explained about her living situation, Hermione listened. She could understand the idea of wanting a private place of her own, since Angelina shared with George and Lee. "That makes sense. Have you found a flat that you like yet?"
She opened her menu and glanced at it. "Every time that I think about actually making plans with friends, I get distracted and forget. It's not usual for me, but things have been hectic lately. When they're not busy, then I'm feeling impatient waiting for things, and distracting myself."
"A starter would be lovely. Thank you," she said with a smile. "Celebrating is good."

She arched a brow. "Looking at flats? Are you planning to move soon then?"
The hostess escorted them to a table, and she sat down. "Thank you for owling about lunch. This is nice."
