Tuesday was Lavender's day off and she was actually really rather looking forward to it this week, but she was bouncing off the walls a little bit and was probably grating a little on Verity's nerves. Not that Verity would say anything.
Lavender didn't really know what to do with herself, only that she wasn't going to stay inside the house. It was a bit blustery out, but she decided to go for a walk, regardless, putting on a cloak and cerise wellies to keep dry.
She somehow ended up in Diagon Alley, peering into shop windows and wondering if she could afford to do any real shopping. She was also pretending that she wasn't splashing in puddles on purpose.
After all, that would childish.
And fun.
