Date: February 4, 1999. Characters: Hestia Jones, Bill Weasley Location: St. Mungo's Status: Private Summary: Hestia and Bill catch up in the canteen. Completion: Complete
The visit with Greystone had gone well. Bill was considering going down to monthly appointments, instead of every two weeks, but he was worried that he'd have a relapse or that things would get worse if he made that decision. Despite the months of feeling more in control and dealing with his anger, he couldn't get past the fear of hurting Fleur or their baby. It was only an hour every other Friday, so he'd probably keep this routine until he felt ready to cut it down

"Just a wee break before I go back to the grind. It's all paperwork for me this morning, so I needed to get out of my office. How are you? How's Fleur and the baby?" Hestia asked before biting into her tart. She wondered what'd brought him to St. Mungo's - if it was something to do with Fleur or something else, but decided not to pry. She didn't want him to be put on his guard for no good reason.
"Ah, yes. The dreaded paperwork. That has to be the worst part of any job, I think," he mused before he took a drink of his coffee. "Fleur is going great. She and the baby are healthy and good."
"How are you? Not working too hard, I hope. Did you have a good new year?" He tore off a piece of his pastry and popped it into his mouth.
"Definitely. But it's got to be done, so you do it. How are you liking your new teaching career, by the way? Had any seventh years making passes at you yet?" She said with a giggle. "That's good to hear. Send her my love, will you?"
"Not too hard, but enough. We're still a bit short staffed so I have to work an extra shift almost every week, but I don't mind so much. And I had a lovely new year, thank you," Hestia said, blushing slightly. She looked at him and mentally compared him to his younger brother. Bill was slightly taller than Percy and very handsome, but he didn't make her heart race. She supposed that had a lot to do with the fact that he was a happily married man as well as the fact that he wore neither horn-rimmed glasses or sweater vests.
