RP: Things to Say

It was the last week of NEWT Prep and Neville didn't have any assignments. Thankfully, with Hermione and Pansy's help, he had his Charms revision, both theory and practical, pretty well sorted. Herbology wouldn't be a problem, he thought. He also believed he'd do well in Defense if he went over it all and took the time to shore up a few things on the theory side before sitting the NEWT.
Right now, he was drawn to the library for a different reason. There was something he was trying to work out with one of his plant experiments. Professor Sprout thought his idea had merit when he talked it over with her. She suggested he check out a particular title that had been added to the library over the holidays on the subject. New Herbology books always interested Neville. He planned to take full advantage of the library while he could and read it over before the NEWT Prep students lost library privileges.
Neville was coming up the stairs to the library when he say Ginny coming down. He breathed a little sigh of relief that he could finally find out for himself how she was doing. Unless of course she suddenly decided to turn around and go back upstairs. Neville didn't even think about the fact that it might be awkward talking to her. Even if he had, it wouldn't have stopped him. Neville didn't mind awkward if it gave him a chance to assure himself that Ginny was okay.
He wasn't sure she'd been paying enough attention to spot him yet when she reached the landing, "Hey, Ginny." Neville smiled, "How have you been?"
