Seamus jogged downstairs, contemplating heading out for a drink. He'd done that only yesterday, though, ditching his revising to go to the Three Broomsticks instead. Hell, he'd not even managed to finish his note to Lav. Nothing he'd written had sounded right. There was nothing for it -- he needed to talk to her instead of staying away like some coward just because it had been hard last time. Even knowing this, and even though it didn't feel right not seeing her, the hesitation was still there. Mostly because he was still so confused and didn't know what to tell her once they did talk.
Talking to Parvati had been better than he'd thought it would be, considering he'd not especially been looking for company. There were a lot of things up in the air for her too, it seemed,and it kind of reminded him that he and Lav weren't the only ones with problems. But he wasn't sure he could take her up on her offer to talk, not about this anyway. He didn't think she knew anything too detailed, or if she did, he was more than prepared to pretend otherwise and keep it that way.
He'd give anything to not be able to think about any of this for just an hour.
When he entered the sitting room, Nev was there. Seamus had already eaten, so he didn't continue into the kitchen, instead plopping down into the cushy chair by the sofa. "Lo, mate."
