It had been a surprisingly busy morning at the store, and George worried for a bit he might not be able to get away. He was only a few minutes late, though when he Apparated to Katie's street. He'd never really taken the time to look at the residential areas of Hogsmeade, so he was curious as he walked down the street.

Knocking on her door, he hid the bouquet of water-squirting Tulips behind his back as he waited.

Katie heard the knock on the door and went to open it. "Hi George," she said smiling at him and she leaned up and pecked him on the cheek. "Are you ready for lunch? Any idea where you want to go? Madam Puddifoot's perhaps?" She batted her eyelashes at him.

"Oh flowers? George, you're so --" A blast of water hit her square in the face. She stood there, dripping, trying not to give in to the urge to smack him.

"I suppose that was for the undies, then?" She asked finally, wiping her face off.

"George wasn't entirely certain she enjoyed the joke. He certainly enjoyed it, but then he remembered her formidable temper and wondered if he ought to have warned her. He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. "Sorry, love. My latest creation. Had to test them out on someone didn't I? They look realistic, don't they?"

He was sorely tempted to actually take her up on Puddifoots, if only for a laugh, but he preferred a pint with his lunch today. "The Three Broomsticks," he said. "I've missed Madam Rosmerta and her spectacular bosom. We can both flirt with her and see who she likes better. And then if we get bored we can compare notes on the size of our boyfriend's wands."

Katie scowled at George as he kissed her. "You know, I do appreciate a warning if you're going to use me to test out your products. And isn't that what Ron is for? Testing them out?" She inspected the flowers more closely. "Very realistic," she admitted at last.

When George mentioned the Three Broomsticks, Katie felt like a sheet of ice had been poured down her shirt. He was going on about flirting with Madam Rosmerta and Katie thought she was going to be sick. "Why don't we go to the Hog's Head?" She said abruptly. "Meg said they've expanded their menu. And they've got ice cream." Meg had said no such thing, but she'd say anything to get George from talking about Rosmerta and the Three Broomsticks.
