RP: Visiting the Patient

Rita's heels clicked loudly in the tiled corridors of St. Mungos hospital. She followed behind the Malfoy family solicitor, Octavius Something-Long-and-Pretentious, and was trusting him to get her into Lucius' room without issue. She could get in herself, of course, but it was a good deal more difficult for a beetle to enter a hospital inconspicuously than it was to get into a filthy pub. Not to mention the questions that would be asked if she sneaked in and was discovered.
It was much better this way. She waited by the door as Octavius had a word with the aurors stationed outside Lucius' door, then followed him in when they moved aside. They closed the door behind them, leaving the three to consult with the legal expert in privacy.
He didn't look nearly as bad as she'd expected. He'd probably improved considerably since he'd been transported from Azkaban, but even so, she'd thought he'd look worse than he did. The glasses were new, though. How did he manage to look even more aristocratic in spectacles?
Rita smiled her greeting. "You know, by the end of the day, you and I will probably be having an affair. Aurors are always puzzling things out and coming to the wrong conclusions. Of course, it could be a useful rumour."
