Seamus noticed dust on the heel of his hand and rubbed it away on the thigh of his jeans as he walked along. He snorted and wondered if there was any more dust where he couldn't see - the room had been full of it when he'd arrived at the house. Someone had managed to pulverize their entire second floor, and he'd been called in to put it right.
Deciding some food was in order, he'd apparated to High street rather than to his house. He was in the mood for pizza, definitely. When he spotted Verity up ahead, he sent up a whistle.
A whistle sounded through the chilly air, but it was the 'lo' that made her turn, and Seamus that made her grin. "Lo yourself," she called back, folding her arms and huddling a bit into her coat. "It's been years since I've seen you, and all you've got is 'lo?"
"Well now," he said, trotting a bit more quickly until he'd caught her up, "I'm fairly sure it's not been that long - mind you, I understand it might feel like years." He winked.
"I suppose maybe only months, but it could feel like years." She grinned at him, bouncing a bit on the balls of her feet in an effort to generate a bit of heat.
"What could you call me? Verity works. So does Pygmy Puff Herder, or more recently, Museum Painter, or my favourite, Dinner Companion. I'm starved. I keep waffling though, between pizza and Rosmerta's steak pie. What would you pick?

"And more importantly, have you eaten?"
