Date: 22 November 1999 Characters: Anthony Goldstein, Lisa Turpin Location: Anthony's flat, Diagon Status: Private Summary: Lisa visits for dinner. Completion: Incomplete.
It had been a long day at work, so Lisa was glad to have something relaxing planned. Well, she hoped it would be relaxing. She and Anthony seemed to have worked things out pretty well, but it was hard to tell with him lately. Hopefully she could avoid saying something that would set him off tonight, and vice versa.
She knocked on his door even though it was already propped open, sticking her head inside. "Hellooooo?" she called, grinning as she scanned the flat for him.
"Right here," Anthony said, smiling. He was only standing a few feet from the door slicing the bread--there weren't too many places to hide in his tiny flat. "Come on in. I hope you're hungry." He also hoped the dinner was edible, but he didn't mention that.
Lisa laughed when she saw Anthony barely a second after stepping inside. "Oh good," she said with faux relief, though rolling her eyes at herself in the process. "I wasn't sure I could find you."
Coming inside, she put the package she'd brought on the table. The Sweetshop could always been counted on for desserts a hundred times better than anything she could attempt herself. "Very hungry, actually. I only had time for a little bit of lunch before I got pulled off on a reversal." She glanced around. "Need help with anything?"
Lisa put a package on the table and Anthony nodded at it. "What's that?"
"I don't need help--the stew's done, I think." He peered inside the pot, then grabbed two bowls and began to ladle it out. "Since you're hungry, we can eat now."
