Date: 23 October 1999 Characters: Parvati Patil, Michael Corner Location: Michael's house Status: Private Summary: Parvati brings Michael some food. Completion: InComplete
Michael was spread out on the lounge, trying to come up with the energy to head into the kitchen to make a sandwich for dinner when he heard someone knocking at the door. He wasn't expecting anyone, but maybe it was someone for Terry or Greg.
He shuffled to the door and pulled it open. It was Parvati, clutching something that smelled like it could be dinner. "Oi! Parvati! If that's what I think it is, I could just kiss you!" Michael held the door open so Parvati could come in. "In fact, let's put that down so I can kiss you anyway." He took her package, placed it on the hall table, and pulled her into his arms.
Parvati set the chicken down and let Michael pull her into his arms. She looked up at him and grinned. "I said it once before, but I'll say it again. If this is the reception I get I'll bring you food more often."
She pressed her lips towards his and kissed him, lingering and tightening her arms around his neck.
Michael pulled away too quickly for Parvati's taste, but she figured he could be forgiven seeing as he was hungry. Forgiven for now, anyway.
"Sure. I brought you a chicken. Like, a whole chicken." She smiled and laughed. "They had a sale on them at the market, and I just couldn't resist. So I got two."
Michael tried to suppress a shiver as Parvati leaned in close. Maybe taking the jumper off was a bad idea. Nonetheless, he managed to sit up and pull the jumper over his head.
He sprawled back down in front of the fire. He was wearing a T-shirt, so even if Terry or Greg walked in on them Parvati wouldn't get embarassed.
Parvati was a bit disappointed that Michael had a shirt under his jumper, but she supposed that was for the best. She'd just have to sneak a peek at his chest and back another time.
"Yours, you say?" she teased, putting her hands on his back again and rubbing more knots out as gently as she could.
Michael had a very strong back and Parvati had to bite her lip. Ever since her school crush on Oliver Wood, she'd had a thing for strong backs. They were lovely to look at, and now she was getting to rub one. She wondered if this was how blokes thought, but decided ideas in their heads were probably worse. At least, she thought they were. Really, she just didn't want to feel like a slag or some sort of perv.
"Merlin, Parvati, that feels wonderful." He groaned again as she worked a knot out. He really hoped his housemates didn't come in and hear all the moaning coming from the floor. Boot would never let him hear the end of it.
"Maybe you should chuck Gladrags altogether and take up massage as a career." Too bad that would mean he'd have to share her.
She smiled and blushed as he groaned. It wasn't like she was really doing more than rubbing around some.
"Oh, so you'd like me rubbing down various other wizards?" she asked, partially joking and partially wondering what his reaction would be. "I suppose I could open up a shop..." she trailed off, teasing a little. Really, she had no interest in that, but his reaction might be worth pretending.

"Not that I'm interested you only for your ability to feed me, mind you." Michael let go and grabbed the package.
"Shall we adjourn to the kitchen?"
