Date: Saturday, 7 October 1999 | Lunchtime Characters: Ginny Weasley, Oliver Wood Location: Utopia Status: Private Summary: Ginny and Oliver meet for lunch. Completion: Incomplete
Oliver ran this hands through his hair, noticing that he'd forgotten a drying charm after his shower. Shite. Realizing it would be pretty stupid to cast one now, he headed into Utopia and spotted Ginny right away.
"Hey stranger," he greeted, moving towards her and pulling her into a hug. While there was still a pang of wondering there, Oliver knew it was for the best that he'd never tried anything. It just hadn't been meant to be. "Sorry to keep you waiting."
Ginny had turned her attention to the dart board and had missed Oliver walking in. She grinned at the sound of his voice. "Hey you," she said and hugged Oliver.
"Oh, I haven't been here long," she assured him. It was good to see him, even if there was a lingering wish of different circumstances. "What would you like to do?"
"Food, beer and darts. At least, that would be my order of preference." He grinned and headed towards the bar. "The chips are good. Nice and greasy. But they have other stuff, too."
Oliver figured Ginny had eaten here before, but that was sort of beside the point. "My treat, too. For congrats on the new job."
"I like your order of preference," Ginny said with a smile. She leaned against the bar. "I like the chips, too. The chicken is a good choice as well." Ginny raised an eyebrow at Oliver. "No need to treat me, but," she shrugged, "if you really want to. I won't argue.
