Got a room with an actual swinging door now, and they even let me out of it. There's a lounge and books and stuff, and a few people here in about the same shape as me. Haven't talked to many folks yet what with head-shrinking sessions and stuff, but it's better than listening to my own voice.
Aunt Muriel bullied her way in and brought some decent biscuits, but I'll be ready for yours once I'm home out of here.
Swinging doors, yeah? Sounds promising. I've grown quite tired of hearing the sound of my own voice as well. Bit boring after a time.
I laughed at the idea of Aunt Muriel bullying her way in. I'm jealous of her for that. Bet she was right scary to the staff, yeah?
Work is work. My mentor hates me. Probably. His name is Divens. He's an arsehole, but he challenges me. Sometimes I think he might just like me, and then I get a lecture. I've yet to reverse any sort of accident. Basically I'm a stellar filer. So if you ever need clerical work, I'm your witch.
I'm so glad to know that you're feeling at least a little better. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to see you or talk to you since Tuesday. Things have been a bit mad at the Prophet, but it's all small, silly sorts of things. I agree, though, a nice, relaxing evening is definitely in order- especially to celebrate.
I finally heard back from the Department of Mysteries! Good news, I think.
And, although you're very welcome, I don't think you need to thank me in the slightest. We're good friends, therefore a caring and concerned shoulder is, I think, a prerequisite.
Love, Padma
P.S.- I've been thinking of dropping a note to George, just to ask after him, but I'm afraid he might be beleaguered with post. Do you think he'd mind one more?
That's wonderful news about the Department of Mysteries! I'm so excited for you. Let's get together and celebrate when you have time. We can even have lunches together at the Ministry sometimes!
I'm sure George would love to have post from you. He might be beleaguered with post, but who doesn't like mail? Send it on.
It has been too long indeed. I've missed you. but I figured you've been doing well. Have you been? I was very sorry to hear about your brother's shop. I've been thinking about your family a lot because of it, so it was extra nice to hear from you.
I've been really well, feeling content and excited with my new job. I haven't been very social lately, though, so a visit does sound nice. Do you have anything in mind?
Daddy and Greg are both doing wonderfully. I'm off to visit Greg in a few minutes, actually, at the Ministry. I haven't been in quite a long time so I'm excited.
Thanks for writing to me. It meant a lot. Love, Luna
My schedule is really quite flexible. What day is good for you? I can even come to you at work for lunch or something, though a walk in the evening sounds nice, if you want to meet between our homes.

My offer for biscuits stands until whenever.

Thanks for your concerns. It's been a rough few weeks, but the family is mending I think.
I'm glad to hear that you're excited with your new job. I'm sure it's been keeping you busy. Tell your dad I said hello, and Greg, too.
We should grab lunch or dinner or just take a walk when you have some spare time. I'd love to have a chat.
Miss you,
Ginny
