Pressing her lips together, Padma drew on the reserves of her patience. "I said, are you okay? More importantly, are you drunk?"
It was an obvious, redundant question, but one that she felt needed to be acknowledged aloud. They were standing a short ways away from the Studio, and Padma still hand her hand on Ginny's wrist, almost more to keep her upright than anything else. She considered, for half a second, summoning some sort of chair for her friend, but she would hold off on it if she could.
"The point? The point is getting drunk?" Padma really felt as though she was coming into the middle of a conversation. She gasped as Ginny weaved dangerously to one side, and caught her by the shoulder to steady her. That summoned chair was looking better by the second.
She came around to Ginny's side and put an arm around her shoulders. "Let's get to the apothecary instead, hm? A potion's effects are going to last a great deal longer than any charm I could cast. Don't worry, we'll go slowly."
Ginny felt Padma tugging her along slowly. "You're brilliant," she said, feeling better now that they were moving again. The road swayed beneath her, and she briefly thought about mentioning it to the Ministry in the morning. They really should see to the problem. It could be potentially dangerous.
"The apother--apote--ssounds good, yeah? I'm fine. Just fffine. Dandy. Bloody good."

She closed her eyes, but everything spun out of control, and she staggered to the left. "Oooh," she moaned. "A good Ss-ssobering Charm would be good."
