I'm currently in the midst of my finals rush. I'm writing what will, if the stars are aligned, become a fifteen page paper, so that I don't have to write a 5 page final. The paper is on the history of signification and modes of black expression, with particular focus on the slave narratives of Harriet Jacobs and Frederick Douglass and criticism

I think there's definitely good stuff going on in these. I love the idea of "mai 1968," especially, and the pacing is just right in "Love."
