Dear LJ - ask me anything

Jan 19, 2010 21:55

I just saw this meme and thought it might be interesting. Or terrible. Maybe both.

Ask me anything. Anonymously, if you want.

Tina, why do you encourage these anonymous questions? Do you not find them invasive? It is best to manage what information is available to others, especially about your personal life.

Boredom. And curiosity about what people will ask. I don't find them particularly invasive, no.

I never know how to interpret your punctuation.

And I never know what to make of these posts of yours. Can you even imagine the sorts of questions you're opening yourself up to?

It's not as though I'll be forced to answer any that actually make me uncomfortable, or anything.

And I guess I can't imagine the sort of questions you mean, no, because I'm having a hard time understanding where the concern is coming from. What do you think I'm opening myself up to?

What are your thoughts on tentacles?

I can't say I've ever spent a lot of time contemplating that. Um. I don't have any kind of a problem with tentacles, or the persons to whom they might be attached. But I can't say that I'm as intrigued by them as some people I know.

Can't say I blame you.

Oh, sorry, you weren't asking me...

That's fine, it's always nice to see other people appreciating much-loved aesthetics!

I'd say nae to them on a regular basis, but as fancy occasional wear, I think they can be quite lovely. And I really like the first one you linked. So pretty!

If not nursing, then what?

Bioresearch, with an emphasis on medical applications, I suppose. That was my field of study before I switched to nursing.

Have you talked with Jo yet? I think she was interested in that field before she came here.
