Dear LJ - hobby #1: knitting
I definitely spend too much time working, and I need to find ways to amuse myself beyond annoying dctr_mccoy (he makes it too easy, anyway). I've decided I need a hobby or something. So I thought I would try out some of the excellent suggestions that some of you left in my poll.

...I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to look like that. But it was kind of relaxing, up until I started stressing out about how it was somehow getting narrower and narrower, and had weird holes, and... Yeah, okay. Maybe knitting isn't for me.
